Hi there, I'm Natalie! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I provide compassionate, solution-focused therapy to help you navigate through life's hurdles with confidence. I work with adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, and life transitions. My approach I approach therapy with a willingness to truly understand who you are, your values, and your strengths. I help you develop skills and confidence in yourself to be able to better manage your thoughts and emotions. I primarily use Solution-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with an emphasis on mindfulness. My focus I work with adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, and addiction issues. My communication style I provide a warm, empathetic space for clients to feel comfortable and present. I listen attentively for the subtle strengths within you for us to further explore and expand on. My journey to mental healthcare I have wanted to be a therapist since I was a teenager. At my mom's urging, I reluctantly went to therapy at 15 after sneaking out of the house one too many times (amongst many other troubling behaviors!). The therapy experience deeply impacted me and changed my life trajectory. I developed a strong compassion for people who struggled with mental health issues, a compassion that only grows stronger as the years go on. I have been in this field for nearly 10 years and I love it. I absolutely love sitting with someone, getting to know who they are at their core, and helping them make lasting changes. My goals for you I believe in collaborating together to come up with attainable and tangible goals, checking in frequently, and changing as needed. My first session with you My focus for the first session is to create a comfortable environment for you to build trust and confidence in me and the therapy process. I will ask about what you're currently struggling with, how you're trying to cope.
